Linglong Tire Shines at the Cologne Exhibition: MASTER is paired with Volkswagen Tiguan main tires, showcasing 79% sustainable and environmentally friendly tires for the first time!

From June 4th to June 6th, 2024, Linglong Tire showcased its R&D capabilities and latest products at the Cologne Exhibition in Germany, showcasing its brand's 24 products.

At the exhibition, Linglong not only showcased its outstanding products alone, but also teamed up with Volkswagen to present the latest Volkswagen Tiguan, which was originally equipped with Linglong MASTER products. This highlights the main tire matching cooperation between Linglong and Volkswagen, and is a strong proof of Linglong's continuous leap towards mid to high end matching.

Linglong has nearly 20 years of profound experience in the field of supporting equipment. Currently, it provides supporting services to more than 200 production bases of more than 60 host factories worldwide, achieving support for key global car series such as China, Germany, Europe, the United States, and Japan. The total number of tires provided by car companies has reached nearly 280 million, ranking first in tire matching in China for many consecutive years.

In recent years, the company has accelerated its three structural adjustments around supporting mid to high end brands, mid to high end vehicle models, and the proportion of mid to high end products, continuously enhancing its brand influence in the global supporting field. In cooperation with the public, Linglong provided spare tire support for the Tiguan in 2017, and in 2024, Linglong officially became the main tire supplier for the Tiguan. The Tiguan model equipped with Linglong products on display will be officially launched in August, which is another important milestone in Linglong's cooperation with Volkswagen, and also the first time a local Chinese tire brand has entered the European main tire matching market. At this exhibition, Linglong also grandly released the first green and environmentally friendly tire in the tire industry that uses sustainable materials such as itaconic acid based rubber and recyclable carbon black with a content of up to 79%, as well as multiple mid to high end innovative technology products, fully interpreting and demonstrating Linglong's firm commitment and leadership in green travel and technological breakthroughs.

The design and construction materials of Linglong's booth this time are closely based on the concept of sustainable development, which not only reflects Linglong's deep concern for environmental protection, but also showcases the company's innovative achievements in reducing rolling resistance, enhancing wear resistance, improving handling, and reducing carbon emissions to global audiences.

Linglong's first exhibition of 79% sustainable and environmentally friendly tires undoubtedly became the star product of the exhibition. This tire uses over 79% sustainable raw materials, leading the world, including various recyclable and renewable materials such as dandelion rubber, significantly reducing reliance on petrochemical products in tire production.

At the same time, combined with Linglong lightweight technology, the product has reached the highest level A in the European Union in terms of wetland performance, noise performance, and rolling resistance performance. This tire is still Linglong's first tire in the European market to be equipped with HLC high load technology, as well as the first tire to be equipped with RFID chips. Next, 79% of sustainable and environmentally friendly tires will achieve mass production applications, bringing users a more comfortable and safe driving experience, and making positive contributions to environmental protection and sustainable development.
